The ongoing life chronicles of one queer family cohabiting in an urban nest. The cast of characters includes:
• Two matriarchs, Gus and Otto. The former is the author of this unauthorized familial history.
• Three kidlets. A 17-year-old daughter called Bella and a 15-year-old son called Bubaloo. We adopted this sibling pair in 2007. A toddler girl, we call the Doodle, born in 2011.
• One dog. A fearful, yet gentle, rescue pup.
